About Leonard Law Group
Built on courtroom experience, kept deliberately personal.
Leonard Law Group serves clients across Western Pennsylvania in personal injury, real estate, criminal defense, and DUI matters. We are not trying to feel like a giant volume firm. The point is better judgment, better access, and stronger representation when the stakes are real.
Based in Greensburg, the firm combines Jeff Leonard's decades of criminal courtroom experience with Tim Leonard's litigation-focused work in injury and property disputes. Clients get a firm that knows how to fight and how to stay close to the facts.

Our Story
A firm that stayed local on purpose.
Leonard Law Group grew out of Jeff Leonard's longstanding criminal defense practice in Western Pennsylvania. Over the years, the firm built its reputation by being prepared, responsive, and willing to take difficult matters seriously.
Today, Tim Leonard helps lead the firm's civil side, especially personal injury and real estate disputes. That combination gives the firm a useful mix, old-school courtroom instincts where they matter, and a more modern litigation approach where pressure, detail, and strategy drive the result.
We are a boutique firm by design. Clients are not looking for more layers. They are usually looking for clarity, urgency, and someone who will actually stay on the problem. That is the lane we want to occupy.
What Clients Should Expect
Clear strategy, direct communication, and no manufactured drama.
What We Stand For
The values underneath the work.
Direct Attorney Access
Clients should be able to reach their lawyer, get honest answers, and understand what happens next without being pushed through a call-center system.
Trial-Ready Pressure
Good settlements and smart resolutions usually come from preparation. We build matters with leverage in mind from the start.
Practical Judgment
Not every problem needs the same answer. We care about outcomes that make sense on the facts, the economics, and the actual risk.
Local Credibility
Western Pennsylvania is not an abstract market to us. We know the courts, the pressure points, and the expectations that shape how cases move here.

Professional Recognition
Timothy J. Leonard represents clients across Western Pennsylvania in personal injury, real estate disputes and transactions, and civil litigation. His practice is centered on matters where the stakes are significant, particularly serious injuries, property disputes, and other civil matters that require sound judgment, careful preparation, and strong advocacy.
Tim is known for a practical, thoughtful approach to representation. He focuses on identifying the facts that matter early, building leverage where it exists, and guiding clients with candid advice about both risk and opportunity. Clients value not only his legal knowledge, but also his judgment, preparation, and steady, direct communication throughout the life of a case.
A substantial part of Tim's practice involves real estate litigation and property-related disputes, including seller disclosure claims, hidden defects, contract conflicts, title issues, and other matters arising from real estate transactions and property ownership. He also advises clients in real estate transactions, closings, leasing matters, and related issues, with the goal of protecting their interests before problems become litigation.
Tim also represents injured clients in personal injury matters, bringing the same strategic and practical approach to cases involving serious harm, insurance pressure, and the financial strain that often follows an accident.
Tim was selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2022 through 2025. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Washington & Jefferson College and his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. He is a member of the Westmoreland Bar Association, Allegheny Bar Association, and Pennsylvania Bar Association.
